DayMet Credit Union will soon be Treadwell Credit Union.
Why the Change?
The decision for the name change wasn’t made lightly. Over the years, DayMet has frequently confused with another credit union in the Miami Valley. This confusion caused distraction from what truly matters—serving members. To clear the road ahead, DayMet chose a name that better reflects who we are and the path we walk with our members.
Honoring the Past. Paving the Future.
Treadwell Credit Union may be a new name, but credit union roots run deep. DayMet began in 1957, built by and for General Motors employees. That spirit of community, hard work, and forward momentum is woven into everything we do. This new name is a nod to that legacy—tread speaks to where the credit union has been, and well signals how we move forward with strength and care.
The tagline, “Partners on the road forward,” is more than just a slogan. It’s a promise to stand beside you every mile of your financial journey—whether you’re starting out, hitting life’s speed bumps, or accelerating toward big dreams.
What does this mean for Atrium members?
While our name and logo are new, everything else you love about us is here to stay:
Effective October 1, 2025, Atrium will be a Division of Treadwell Credit Union.
